Historic Field Trip

We just returned from a field trip with the homeschool community to 4 mile Historic Park. We learned many things today:
It's called 4 mile Park because it is 4 miles from the center of Denver.
Back in its heyday, it was a the last stage coach stop before Denver.
Water in November in Denver is COLD!
Well water is heavy.
K really wants a cat.
Homemade butter tastes yummy.
My kids can work if you tell them it's a game!
