Building Castles

Grandpa and Grandma gave the girls these Home Depot castle kits last winter and we thought this rainy summer day would be the perfect time to put them together.


Meg goes for the realistic look:


Kate goes for the multi-color look. You can't see it well in this picture, but her castle also included an Angel Moroni on the highest spire.

Julia and Bekah go for the fairy tale theme:

The kits were labeled as "Castle Banks" but the Kate and Bekah, at least, have so far used them for treasure boxes, jewelry boxes, Polly Pocket bathtubs, and doll beds.
