This is what 180 lbs of apples looks like: 40 lbs of Jonagold, 40 lbs of Golden Delicious, 50 lbs of Granny Smith, 35 lbs of Braeburn, and 15 lbs of Gala. I was hoping to show you what that 180 lbs looks like all peeled, sliced, and sauced in bottles. But one of the important pieces of my apple peeler/corer/slicer thing decided to go AWOL. I should have the new part by Friday and, since M is begging to help me this year, we should have some results by Monday.
That is ONE heck of a lot of apples!!! They look like really nice ones. What is it you are going to do with them all? Applesauce? Apple Betty, Apple Crisp, Apple Crunch, Apple Pie, Apple Butter .........
